Taiwanese-born Ya-Chun Tsai is a professional ballet and contemporary dancer living in Berlin, speaking English and Mandarin, with good skills in German too. In 2010 she completed succesfullly the Taipei National University of the Arts with her bachelor. Between 2008 and 2009 Ya-Chun graduated from the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts in Germany and studied from July to December 2007 at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. In addition to being a trained ballet dancer, she is also highly educated in Chinese ethnic dance, contemporary dance, jazz, pas de deux, Spanish dance, and even tai chi. Ya-Chun, on stage since 2007, has worked among others with Birgit Keil in Les Sylphides, was a member of the Taipei Capital Ballet Ensemble, and danced the classic part of Flying Bach.
