German-born Helena Gläser is a professional ballet dancer living in Germany, speaking English, French, and German language, trained at the dance schools of Hamburg Ballet John Neumeier, Leipzig Opera, and Dresden Palucca University of Dance. She danced in productions choreographed by Alexander Ekman, Nacho Duato, William Forsythe, Anke Glasow, Jiri Kilian, Ingo Meichsner, Yuval Pick, and Uwe Scholz as well as in New York at the American Ballet Theatre and José Limón Institute, Rotterdam Dance Academy, and Saarbrücken State Theatre with Marguerite Donlon. Helena received soloist engagements at Landesbühne Radebeul and Wiesbaden State Theatre. The daily newspaper Sächsische Zeitung awarded her in 2012 as "Best Individual Dancer of the 2011-12 Season”. From 2013 to 2020 Helena was a permanent ensemble member of Chemnitz Ballet. She performed in title roles like Angel of Death in Mozart's Letters, Aurora in Sleeping Beauty — A Dream Dance, Barthilde in Giselle, Carmen, Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Janine in Jitters — It's Showtime, Odette and Odile in Swan Lake, Snow Queen, Sword Excalibur in King Arthur, Woman in White in Eugene Onegin, and others.
